For seven consecutive years, George Hegarty convened the Cork National Boat Show, hosting exhibitors from both London's Earl's Court and Southampton Boat Shows.

Highly experienced in the many fields of the Leisure Marine Industry, you are in capable hands when you step into the office of Glen Marine Designs Limited of Cork Ireland.

The Boatyard.

Glen Marine Boatyard is ideally situated on Monkstown Creek, the yard is equipped with a modern 10 ton Mobile Hydraulic Crane with extended jib, conveniently positioned on the waterside of Monkstown Creek.
Monkstown Creek is tidal and comfortably affords deep water for 5 hours of every tide. Boats drawing up to six feet will experience no problem coming alongside the berthed "REGENT LADY", a converted ninety foot former petroleum carrier and now the Glen Marine sales office and communications centre comprising VHF, Computer, Mobile Phone and Fax machine all on 24 hour standby.

Plans are well advanced to install a further 60 pontoon berths just off the Boatyard adding to the ample space available for laid up boats.

We are conveniently located, approximately five miles from Cork Airport, two miles from Ringaskiddy Ferryport with regular Ferries to Brittany, Le Harve, Cherburg and Swansea.

For the first time visitor to our moorings, Cork city is but a 'stones through away', our beautiful county offers sandy beaches, high rugged cliffs, in short a microcosm of our Irish countryside in history and scenery.

An intrinsic appreciation of colour coordination for that final finishing touch to the interior or exterior of boats.
Combining with talented & dedicated painters to produce highly appreciated results with striking colour lines on the plainest of boats

An experienced and talented member of the Glen Marine team, London based Director and general business Co-ordinator.
Broad experience of the Marine Business gained from many years of working alongside her father.
Taking an active role in the selection of suitable boats for the Irish market.
Co-ordinates transfer of customer orders and stock boats.
